GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
An accountant is a person who records business transactions on behalf of an organization, reports on company performance to management, and issues financial statements.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to the managing director
Preparing periodic returns and forward same to the companies management consultant
Keeping and maintaining relevant books and accounts of the company
Raising and preparation pf payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers and fund transfer forms for approval
Writing of cheques for approved signatories
Keeping of security documents i.e cheque books
Keeping and monitoring petty cash operations
Liasing with the bankers of the company on the authorization of the managing director or general manager i.e cash deposits and withdrawal, collection of bank statements
Participating in stock taking activities
Account reconciliations (POS, transfers, cash book/bank statement
Any other assigned duty.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
5-7 years experience in the job
Analytic mind
ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
