Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching computer science and a comprehensive understanding of the British curriculum. This role requires a professional who can engage students with innovative teaching methods and utilize technology effectively in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality computer science lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
- Develop engaging and interactive presentations to support lesson delivery.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Participate in curriculum development and school events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Power Point, to enhance teaching and administrative tasks.
- Integrate programming languages and software development practices into the curriculum.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in computer science.
- Familiarity with the British curriculum and its assessment methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point.
- Strong understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and software development principles.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
