Job Title: Class Teacher Job Summary : The class teacher @ Tabitha's kids early years centre is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for learners . Manage a classroom of learners deliver lessons, assess learners progress, and support individual Learners needs. Additionally, serve as a key point of contact for parents and guardians and collaborate with other teachers and school staff of Tabitha's kids early years centre. Key Responsibilities: 1. Teaching and Instruction: - Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. - Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. - Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. - integret technology and other innovative tools to enhance learning. 2. Classroom Management: - Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation. - Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning environment. - Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school. 3. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring: - Assess and record students’ progress and provide regular feedback. - Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions. - Prepare and conduct regular student evaluations, including exams and other assessment tools. 4. Communication: - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns. - Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events. - Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to support student learning and well-being. 5. Professional Development: - Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices. - Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and workshops. 6. Administrative Duties: - Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ attendance, progress, and development. - Prepare required reports on students and activities. - Perform other administrative duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. - Teaching certification/license as required by the state or country. - Proven experience as a class teacher or relevant teaching role. - Strong knowledge of teaching best practices and educational guidelines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
