Account Manager
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's account/finances, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis to guide decision-making and support business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage cash flow, banking, and financial transactions.
- Lead the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Assist in strategic planning and financial risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 4+ years of experience.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing an account team and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Added Advantage (experience in the manufacturing sector)
