Details of the assignment:
A warm and lovely family based in Abuja is seeking a nurturing and loving English-speaking nanny to look after their 2-year-old child. The nanny will work six days a week, covering full-time hours. Responsibilities include all childcare-related tasks, such as getting the child ready for the day, providing support during breakfast and meals if necessary, tidying up the play area and child's bedroom, organising the wardrobe, and ensuring dirty clothes are washed and folded.
Although the house is fully staffed, the family needs a nanny who can clean up after herself and contribute to maintaining a tidy and organised home. The nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. The ideal candidate for this role should be travel-ready, as the position involves extensive travel. The nanny will have support from the current junior nanny and will act as the lead nanny to the other nanny.
The ideal candidate is someone active, fun, creative, and playful. The nanny must have experience creating and implementing consistent daily routines while also being flexible when needed. The family is seeking someone vocational and passionate about childcare, dedicated to supporting the child's developmental milestones. The parents practice gentle parenting, so the nanny must share the same gentle approach. Additionally, the nanny is expected to be a good role model for the child and share good values and instill good manner and behaviours.
