This new digital case management system will help modernise the administration of justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. It will replace highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based processes, transforming the way people access and experience justice in New Zealand. Te Haeata/The Opportunity The Test Analyst role sits within the ‘Digital and Information – Testing team' for Te Au Reka. The Testing team is responsible for the planning, design, execution, and reporting of testing to ensure released functionality is fit for purpose and supportable. To be successful in the Test Analyst role you will be able to communicate effectively, have a team-oriented mindset, good attention to detail, the ability to learn rapidly and be focussed on delivering high quality outcomes. You'll have experience in test planning, test scripting, test execution and defect management using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools. You will work closely with end users of the solution, the wider Te Au Reka programme team, and vendors to ensure that effective and efficient acceptance testing occurs to provide confidence in the delivered solutions. Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
A tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Relevant industry and technical qualifications and/or certifications.
The ability to build a deep understanding of the business goals and needs.
Worked with stakeholders to develop and elaborate acceptance tests, particularly in an Agile context.
Worked with Product and/or Service Managers to ensure effective acceptance testing is in place
The ability to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships within an organisation and a wide network of professional relationships across organisations.
A sound understanding of All of Government ICT management principles and offerings, the machinery of governmentand experience in Te Reo Māori would be advantageous.

Utu ā-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $80,770 and $112,332 based on skills and experience.
