Looking for a fun, vibrant, confident support worker who leads with initiative to work with people with an Intellectual Disability/ Learning Difficulty. Position involves a mixture of disciplines including supporting people with an intellectual disability to fulfil life skills, personal cares, behaviour support and comprehensive report writing. Looking for 1 person for a casual position. We are flexible to fit around commitments you may have. There are many shifts to pick up on a 24/7 basis. Key attributes required:
Sense of humour, fun, energetic.
Be able to complete comprehensive report writing, and observational note taking.
Must have initiative, and good social skills with the ability to relate to others.
Must be flexible with time.
Hold a Full clean NZ driving license or equivalent.
Must have great organizational skills and have a calm disposition.
Advantageous to have level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate or equivalent but full training will be provided.
Role would suit a student, someone starting their career in health care.
