Support worker
Health Care NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. Are you looking to make a real difference in your community? We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to work within our Community Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have permanent part-time positions to offer.
We are looking for a support worker with level 2 or 3 working experience with Medical Supervision, Personal Cares, Hoisting. Monday to Friday and Alternative weekend. 8;00am to 2pm, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

- Medication supervision
- Community outings and integration
- Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
- Hoisting
