Design System Library Creator Tait Communications is embarking on an exciting journey to develop a comprehensive design system. Initiated by our UX team, this project aims to establish a robust component library that will serve as the foundation for our design and development efforts. The duties of the role will include: We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Summer Student - Design System Library Creator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a component library that includes buttons, icons, typography, colours, and more. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of documentation outlining best practices and usage guidelines for these components. You have the opportunity to gain experience in:

Gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining a design system library in Figma.

Be studying, or have recently completed, an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or qualification at NZQA level 7-10. If study has been completed, the closing date of your final semester should be less than 12 months ago
Be studying science, technology, engineering, design or business at a New Zealand tertiary education institute
Be legally permitted to work in New Zealand
Not have undertaken more than two Experience Grant internships with the same business.
This is a fixed term paid summer internship position for 400 hours, commencing in November 2024. Applications will close 22nd September 2024. All applications will be considered, and you will be advised should you be shortlisted for an Interview.
