We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to manage our busy store located in Matamata. This is a permanent, full-time role and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work. We offer competitive remuneration between $30- $35 per hour based on experience. The Role As Store Manager you will plan, lead, communicate, organise and control the day-to- day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards. You must have a high attention to detail and love working in a busy environment. Responsible for, stock control and management, including accurate stocktaking. Deciding on product pricing and responsible for establishing marketing and purchasing policies to increase revenue. Monitor and check staff performance. Responsible for recruitment and training of new staff. Prepare monthly reports and budgeting. Being able to understand and offer the best service and products to our customers. You will be responsible for driving sales and promotions, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the store is compliant with all company policies and Health & Safety regulations. About you: A diploma or above level qualification gained in Retail/ Management/ Business is required. Proven New Zealand experience at supervisor/ managerial level in a retail environment for at least 6 months is required. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
