We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to manage our busy store located in
Matamata.
This is a permanent, full-time role and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week
of work. We offer competitive remuneration between $30- $35 per hour based on
experience.
The Role
 As Store Manager you will plan, lead, communicate, organise and control the day-to-
day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards.
 You must have a high attention to detail and love working in a busy environment.
 Responsible for, stock control and management, including accurate stocktaking.
 Deciding on product pricing and responsible for establishing marketing and
purchasing policies to increase revenue.
 Monitor and check staff performance.
 Responsible for recruitment and training of new staff.
 Prepare monthly reports and budgeting.
 Being able to understand and offer the best service and products to our customers.
 You will be responsible for driving sales and promotions, providing excellent
customer service and ensuring the store is compliant with all company policies and
Health & Safety regulations.
About you:
 A diploma or above level qualification gained in Retail/ Management/ Business is
required.
 Proven New Zealand experience at supervisor/ managerial level in a retail
environment for at least 6 months is required.
 Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 A commitment to driving sales and achieving outstanding results.
 Stock management expertise, understanding the importance of this.
