SPRINKLER SERVICE SUPERVISOR Argus is a well-known company with over 40 years experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems. We currently have a vacancy for a Sprinkler Service Supervisor based out of our Hamilton office. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in pricing and installation of all aspects of Fire Sprinkler Systems. Candidates must demonstrate:
Minimum 5 years' experience in the sprinkler service or installation business.
All aspects of H&S systems and hold a gold card Site Safe or ability to work towards one.
High level experience & competency in Fire Sprinkler Systems.
Competency in all aspects of contracting within NZ.
An excellent understanding of the relevant NZ Standards and NZ Building Code.
Unquestionable communication skills.
Excellent computer literacy.
Excellent record keeping and report compilation skills.
High level of personal hygiene.
Ability to multi task, schedule work and prioritise work load.
Other responsibilities within this role will include:
Ensuring compliance on health and safety.
Management of cost effective purchasing of labour and materials.
Monitoring of jobs to meet agreed completion dates and budgets
Provision of technical information, advice and assistance.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the ability to be cool under pressure and able to negotiate between different stakeholders and will have a strong track record in organising resources efficiently and effectively in a cost effective manner. Success in this role is achieved by demonstrating accomplishments and having a proactive approach for positive outcomes but most of all to be part of the team.
