Installation of solar and battery systems, both on-grid and off-grid
Complete appropriate mechanical checks on all installations
Maintain an excellent level of customer service at all times
Work with the wider Installation Team, assisting on jobs wherever appropriate
Assist the wider installation team with installation of all types of heat pumps
including hi-walls, floor consoles, ceiling cassettes and ducted systems, installation of central vacuum systems and installation of ventilation systems
Installation of any other products and electrical work Hubands Energy may sell and/or service in the future
Complete all job related tasks via Sim PRO while on the job
Complete time sheet daily
Adherence to company health and safety procedures at all times
Attendance of weekly tool box talks
Assist in keeping storeroom clean and tidy at all times
Ensure van is well stocked at all times
Assisting with stock take of electrical equipment
Check tools and safety equipment are being correctly maintained and work effectively on a regular basis
Undertake further training as required

What we offer
Excellent pay rates, $25-35 per hour (Remuneration will be based on the successful candidates’ experience in the solar industry)
Minimum guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week
Bonus health insurance. On your third anniversary of being employed by the company, we will also pay for your partner and any children under 21 years old
The company generally closes for 2 weeks holiday during December and January (exact dates will be confirmed closer to the time)

About you - the ideal candidate must have
A minimum of 3 years experience in the solar installation field OR level 4 qualification OR any Bachelors Degree
NZ Citizenship/NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
Police & medical certificate required Recent drug test Driver's license Did not claim acc for the last 3 years
A practical mindset, resourceful, motivated, and have the ability to problem-solve
A good sense of humour, high integrity/morals and the ability to work well in teams
