Shop Manager - Whangarei Shop and management oversite of the Dargaville Shop Permanent Full - Time (37.5 hours per week). About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga In this role you will:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures;
Overseeing the Dargaville Shop, with regular visits to guide and support the local volunteers.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns;
Coordinating and Training Volunteer Staff;
Manage cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including balancing cash registers at the end of each shift;
Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
Who are we looking for? – Mā wai te mahi nei? To be successful you will have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of team;
Flexibility to work varying shifts;
Experience/interest in working with volunteers;
Second hand retail/fashion experience would be an advantage;
Able to accept and process donations in a timely manner;
Ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines;
Have the ability to train coach others - staff and volunteers;
Ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines.
New Zealand full driver license, is required
