Senior Data Engineer-PYSPARK

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SQL Developer, Spark, py spark and Python. Experience in Research and Development is a plus. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our data processing pipelines, contributing to innovative projects that drive the company’s mission forward.

Should have experience working in ACE and EBard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Should be proficient in working on the NBA and Veeva suggestions and related country activations.
ACE, E-Bard, One View and Product MDM. - Develop and optimize complex data processing pipelines using SQL Developer, Spark, Py Spark, and Python. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements for data solutions. - Implement best practices for data management, ensuring data integrity and security. - Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of scalable data architectures. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in data processing workflows. - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data solutions. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. - Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements. - Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. - Drive innovation by exploring new tools and techniques to enhance data processing capabilities.
System monitoring: Monitoring of global jobs and data health checks, issue communications, root cause identification and remediation and performance optimizations
Issue management: Attend triage calls, analysis and resolution of the issues, ticket updates and interaction with users.
Demand management:
Work on minor enhancements, bug fixes to the existing code,
Clarify requirements with the team
Remediate upcoming impacts on existing global pipelines as per release change process
Operational reporting: Providing statistics about pipeline monitoring, issues, health checks and system usage.
Documentation: Create team knowledge documents and keep it updated. Ensure adherence to client standards, policies and quality compliance, enterprise metadata definition
Support user acceptance testing
Interaction with business stakeholders for seeking or providing clarifications

Salary Range: >$100,000
