This is a great role offering a variety of duties from setting up the orchard blocks before a harvest crew enters, assigning trees to the harvest crews, weighing buckets, field quality checks, checking trees, loading trailers, clearing blocks after harvest crews have been through, assisting with irrigation and transporting fruit to and from the packhouse.
The Seasonal Orchard Assistant position will start in early December with the final team members joining late December. Work goes through until the completion of the cherry export season which is generally late January/early February.

What do you need to join us
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good level of fitness
Experience with quad bikes, 4 WD or motorbike, experience with backing trailers and staff supervision would be an advantage
