The Job
As a Sales Representative/Account Executive, you will take total ownership and responsibility for each store and distributor in your area. This includes gaining range expansion, merchandising of product & displays, and training store staff in all our products and services across Wellington and periodically up to the Central North.

The Job
As a Sales Representative/Account Executive, you will take total ownership and responsibility for each store and distributor in your area. This includes gaining range expansion, merchandising of product & displays, and training store staff in all our products and services across Wellington and periodically up to the Central North.
Your duties will include:
- Increasing market share by utilising programs that will appropriately target customers and end users
- Maintaining regular calls to stores by creating and following a daily call cycle plan for your assigned territory
- Training stores and distributors on major accounts
- Preparing and presenting powerful, persuasive sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition at Stanley Black & Decker

You are a highly customer-focused individual, with a strong work ethic who utilises your strong communication skills to develop and grow your territory within your customer base.
You Will:
- Have advanced communication and influencing skills gained in a sales environment
- Be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully winning new business
- Have the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
- Possess high computer literacy including experience using MS Office, particularly Power Point & Excel, CRMs, and using an i Pad/Tablet
- Be based in Wellington and be prepared to travel periodically up to the Central North (approximately 2 nights a month)
