Sales Assistant
Save Barn Whangarei is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring our store remains a welcoming and organized environment for shoppers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting customers with inquiries and product selection.
· Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
· Restock shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively.
· Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
· Assist in inventory management, including stock-taking and replenishment.
· Stay informed about product offerings and promotions to provide informed advice to customers.
· Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
· Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced retail environment.
