The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Road Marking Operator to join our team based in Hamilton and assist us in servicing our growing workload throughout the Waikato and South Auckland Region.
In addition to above, you'll:

Lead and supervise a road marking crew

Plan for each job, ensuring correct materials and tools are equipped for the shift

Ensure plant and equipment is fit for use

Set out and disestablish TTM for each site as required

Liaise with customers or site engineers to ensure work is carried out to correct standard

Carry out road marking activities to a high standard of quality that meets contract specifications

Ensure quality checks are carried out each shift

Complete job sheets, pre-start plant inspections, timesheets and other administration as instructed/ required for the work assigned

Set out or road marking based on plans, drawings and/ or project specifications

Report any incidents or safety issues as per Company requirements

Ensure every jobs is carried out in Safe manner and as per any Safety regulations
This role is minimum 40 hours per week, full time permanent. The wage ranges between $30- $31 p/hr.
What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have experience in operating, maintaining and caring for Type A and/or Type B Road marking equipment. Other skills and attributes include:

Minimum Class 1 full license, Class 2 would be an advantage

D and F endorsements advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

Pride in your workmanship

A great attitude

Traffic management qualifications and experience advantageous but not essential

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and potential to travel out of Waikato if required
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating road marking machines and equipment.
