All about the job
It is an exciting time for Resource Management planners with lots of changes at both the regional and central government level, all of which needs policy analysis, submissions, evidence and potentially court work.
With the Proposed Porirua District Plan almost operative, the team are now looking forward to improving and updating the plan with some major plan changes.
The Proposed District Plan aims to weave the requirements of the Resource Management Act with the Council’s strategic directions which are:

- Create thriving communities where everyone can be safe and healthy – at home, work or play
- Keep tamariki and rangatahi at the heart of our city
