Permanent, part-time position (0.4 FTE and 0.6 FTE) based at Whangarei Hospital

About the role
Are you looking for flexibility? We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to work alongside our Cardiology team within the Cardiac Cath Lab based within Whangarei Hospital.
You will be working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in delivering individualised nursing care in accordance with professional standards. The care you give will enhance the outcomes for patients of the Cardiac Cath Lab through education, liaison, case management, co-coordinating the treatment and discharge planning processes for patients.

Skills and experience
Essential
- Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- IV Designation
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Good communication skills with a focus on listening
- Effective time management and good organizational skills
- Recent (within two years) experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab
- Acute cardiology and or critical care experience
- Flexible working arrangements – no weekends!
- Be part of a supportive and progressive multi-disciplinary team
