Due to an increase in our staffing levels, we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team!
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a surgical ward environment, either in the public or private sector. Experience is required in Urology, General Surgery and Gynaecology.
Rua Ward, which opened in 2024, is dedicated to service innovation and development. This purpose-built facility focuses on providing residents of Waitematā with increased access to high-quality elective surgery.
Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative healthcare delivery, working with some of New Zealand’s most culturally diverse populations.
Tōtara Haumaru our new, state-of-the-art facility is located on the North Shore Hospital campus, with stunning views of the volcanically formed Lake Pupuke. It’s just a stone’s throw from the world-famous Waitematā Harbour and some of the region’s most beautiful beaches.

The ward operates 24/7, Monday to Sunday, with rostered shifts.
