Are you a nurse who loves to ski or hike and enjoys the great outdoors? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our collaborative rural team.
Ruapehu Health Ltd is based in the rural township of Raetihi and situated in the Whanganui region. We are located on the doorstep of the National Park and the Central Plateau – an area abundant with outdoor sports and recreational activities: www.discoverwhanganui.nz and www.mtruapehu.com
We are looking for Registered Nurses who match our values and vision to improve the wellbeing and lives of our enrolled population, with a particular focus on addressing health inequalities from Māori, Pacific Island peoples, and low-income populations.
To be successful you will need to:

Be a registered Comprehensive Nurse with a current practicing certificate
Have a minimum of two years post registration, with clinical experience in primary health
Be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team, but also independently when required
Have excellent time management skills for a busy practice
Be customer and community focused, culturally responsive and an innovative practitioner

Essential criteria:

Current New Zealand practicing certificate
Demonstrated computer literacy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Current immunisation and smear takers certificate, or willingness to obtain
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development
