We are looking for a full time, permanent administrator to join the Programme Delivery team based in Wellington (our office is at the Regional Admin Building in Upper Hutt).
Our staff come from different backgrounds, cultures, education and experience – and together their purpose is to assist people to make positive changes in their lives, to help make our communities safer.
About the role | Mō te tūnga
You will be an integral part of a dedicated team providing a range of administrative support to Programme Facilitators and Principal Facilitators to support the effective set up and delivery of Departmental programmes.
In this busy and varied role, you will be responsible for tasks such as but not limited to:

You will have superior work and time management skills as well as:

- Accurately loading and updating information around programmes
- Filing of completed programmes
- Placing resource orders
- Equipment and facilities maintenance
- Extracting and collating of information from data bases
- Taking minutes and preparing report packages for meetings
- Co-ordination and organisation of meetings and travel bookings
- Health, safety and wellbeing representation
- Reception duties when required to support the smooth running of programmes
Skills & Experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
You will have superior work and time management skills as well as:
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Can-do attitude with a high level of initiative and discretion
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
