Print Room Operator
- The role is base at our client site in Waikato
- The role is for a full time position
- The working hours is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, outgoing and customer focused Print Room Operator based on our high-profile client site. The primary focus of this entry level role is to ensure effective delivery of contracted services in a customer site in accordance with Service Level Agreements and customer expectations. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Main duties
- Ensure all billing information is logged in the appropriate systems
- Prepare and process print requirements including invoices for mailing
- Expenditure and wastage is minimized to ensure efficient use of resources
- Monitor consumables and general supplies, reorder and distribute as required
- Deliver services in line with customer expectations
- Ensure all customer requests are completed and delivered on time and within budget as per customer requirements
- Operational processes are followed to ensure service delivery excellence
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
- Complete all work efficiently and effectively to maximize equipment productivity
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Participate in projects which may arise from time to time
- Prepare documents for scanning and digitisation
- Stationary and consumables
- Mail & Courier delivery
- Provide customer assistance and support
Key Requirements
- Ability to easily build a rapport with customers
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Work autonomously and within a team environment
- Knowledge of mail and print operations
- Knowledge of finishing and binding operations
- Knowledge of low/mid volume print/copying operations
- Knowledge of production printers and large format printers
- Knowledge of electronic printing and outsource print operations
- Print Colour Management skills
- Fiery RIP, Adobe Suite experience
