Kaitaia Hospital is Health New Zealand's northernmost hospital. It is a general hospital serving a widely scattered population. The 20 bed hospital has a general ward, maternity and paediatric ward with all the supporting services, and also provides a substantial community health service.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Nurse Educator to work in the General Ward, Kaitaia Hospital with knowledge in various specialties and the skills to promote, facilitate and provide clinical education. The primary functions of this role are to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and promote clinical excellence and evidence-based professional nursing practice.
This position is permanent 0.6 FTE, working 24 hours per week between Monday to Friday.

About you:
New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate
Relevant Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma
Ability to identify, plan and facilitate learning activities and education programmes relative to your practice area
Ability to work as part of a team environment
If you can communicate effectively, have a strong patient/client focus and a flexible approach to work, showing an ability to adapt to new challenges then we would love to hear from you
