The Role:
As a Membership Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and current members. Your role will involve promoting our gym's premium services, exclusive facilities, and bespoke membership options. You will play a key role in achieving membership growth and retention goals. With our commitment to quality and service, Flex Fitness provides an unparalleled environment for fitness enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with potential members in person, by phone, and email; provide personalised tours of the club; and assist them in selecting the membership plan or promotion that best suits their needs.
- Develop strategies to retain members; check in regularly for feedback; address concerns and offer solutions; provide incentives for retention; organise engaging events.
- Respond to inquiries, address concerns, and build positive member relationships.
- Maintain membership records; process signups and payments; use CRM to manage members; produce social media content.
- Collaborate with team and Club Manager on sales and retention strategies; participate in meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Strong background in sales, customer service, and the fitness industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and relate with diverse clients.
- Strong passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, with a polished appearance and demeanour.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and CRM software.
- Current First Aid certification is required.
- Exercise Science, Personal Training, or related qualification(s) is preferred.
- Available to work 20-25 hours per week between Monday and Saturday. Flexibility is highly valued.
