Join a progressive medical imaging team that values work/life balance and career progression opportunities. Join our small but innovative, social and adventurous team. Our Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging to a high standard. The Radiology department operates a day shift 7 days a week with an overnight on call service. This roster is shared equally amongst you and your MIT colleagues.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Provide high quality diagnostic imaging in a timely manner.
  • Deliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service delivery.
  • Participate in a rotating shift roster.
  • Uphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirements.
  • Work as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships.

Mōu | About you
Hold a full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice
  • Hold a current practising certificate.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have a strong patient focus.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Utilise excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • CT user would be an advantage or willingness to be trained in CT.
