Maintenance Assistant Technician,Part-time 16 hrs - Sudima Queenstown Five Mile
About the Role | Te Mahi
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our talented team at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile. This position is for part-time hours covering weekends, 16 hours per week and will suit someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
You will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks, including painting, general repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will work closely with the Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
This is a part time role based at Sudima Queenstown Five Mile. The rate is $28.00 per hour with Weekend cover and occasional weekday projects.

- Assisting with general maintenance tasks, including painting, weekly maintenance tasks and adhoc repairs within guest rooms.
- Performing regular checks on equipment and facilities
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicating effectively with the Maintenance Specialist and other team members
About You | Ko Koe Tēnei
- Prior experience in a maintenance role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry and plumbing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and reliable
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices
