We operate 24 hours a day Monday to Friday, and we are looking for a Linehaul Driver who will play a pivotal role in ensuring on time delivery to DCs and Lower North Island Depots. In this role you will be travelling between Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington. You must have at least 3 years’ experience driving class 5, preferably linehaul and be able to confidently reverse b-trains as well as truck & trailers. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6pm - 5am
This role will involve staying in your cab whilst out of Auckland.
About the role:
- The timely pick up and delivery of goods
- Report any damages or complaints/feedback
- To ensure all regulatory and company documentation such as a POD is correct and completed
- Maintaining clean vehicle, carry out daily vehicle checks & log book
About you:
- A current, clean class 5 driver’s license
- 3+ years experience driving class 5 trucks (b-train & truck & trailer)
- Must have a valid forklift license and D endorsement
- Good NZ geographical knowledge
- Excellent understating of the Heavy Vehicle Road Code & logbook regulations
- Good command of the English language
- Basic understanding of the Sign on Glass app
