Full Job Description
YHK Painting and Decorating Limited is seeking two experienced Painters to join our team, focusing on building and structural projects. This role involves applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces to protect, maintain, and enhance the aesthetics of both commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities:
Pay: $31.60 – $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
Schedule:
YHK Painting and Decorating Limited is seeking two experienced Painters to join our team, focusing on building and structural projects. This role involves applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces to protect, maintain, and enhance the aesthetics of both commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities:
- Erect scaffolding and ladders, and use drop sheets to protect areas from paint splattering.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old finishes, repairing woodwork, filling cracks, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and sealed.
- Select and prepare paints, mixing pigments, oils, thinners, and additives to achieve desired colors.
- Apply finishes such as paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and sprays.
- Hang wallpaper, ensuring patterns match and edges are well-trimmed.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- At least three years of relevant painting experience.
- Must be a fit and proper person.
- Willing and happy to undergo drug testing.
