IT GRC Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Specialist to join our team. The IT GRC Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to established IT policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role involves managing risks, monitoring compliance, and implementing governance frameworks to safeguard our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk in IT systems and processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT controls and risk management activities.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of IT governance and compliance efforts.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential IT risks.
Provide training and support to staff on IT GRC-related matters.
Stay up-to-date with the latest IT GRC trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of IT GRC frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GRC tools and software.
Familiarity with cloud security and ANZ data privacy regulations.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
