The Opportunity
Work in a structured teams supported by registrars and consultants to improve your experience in all aspect of surgical care.
Palmerston North Hospital offers the following opportunities in surgical subspecialty runs and actively promotes strong candidates into registrar positions.

Ability to rotate through the below surgical runs:

• ENT /Ophthalmology
• Urology
• Orthopaedics
• Surgical Relief
• General Surgery

There are also opportunities to do both an ICU and an Emergency Medicine rotation.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. • Completed PGY1 or equivalent.
