Crown Empire is a luxurious nightclub in the heart of Auckland, providing high-quality entertainment in a fun and relaxed environment. We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team.
As our Food and Beverage Manager, you'll be at the forefront of creating an exceptional guest experience. Your role will involve overseeing the nightclub's front-of-house operations and ensuring seamless kitchen and bar activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Inventory Management: strategically manage purchasing and pricing within budget, maintaining accurate stock levels and financial records through the BUSTLE - POS system.
Compliance and Cleanliness: ensure all dining and facility areas meet health regulations, maintaining a clean, functional, and inviting atmosphere.
Customer Engagement: interact with guests to gauge satisfaction with meals, drinks, and service, providing friendly and professional support.
Staff Development: lead by example, training and supervising staff to deliver top-notch service.
Reservations Management: handle bookings for the front house and special events, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
What we are looking for:
Experience: a minimum of 4 years in the hospitality industry, with proven experience in food and beverage operations, ideally within nightclub settings. Experience supervising staff (at least 6 months).
Nightlife Expertise: familiarity with nightclub environments and operations.
Professionalism: exceptional customer service skills, with a courteous and professional demeanour towards both clients and staff.
Flexibility: willingness to work late nights and weekends in a lively and sometimes noisy environment.
Presentation: high standards of grooming and personal presentation, as you'll be the first point of contact for our guests.
Cocktail Knowledge: expertise in mixology, with the ability to train staff in crafting exceptional cocktails.
Technical Skills: ability with the BUSTLE - POS system.
Certification: a current Manager Certificate (alcohol) is essential.
Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 3 pm and 4 am. Additional hours, up to a maximum of 50 per week, may be available during peak periods.
Compensation: $30 per hour with a permanent contract, and the chance to be part of an exciting and sophisticated environment.
