Spring / Summer position starting the beginning of October working through to 24th December 2024!
Do you have a great work ethic, enjoy getting stuck in, and hold a full driver’s licence? If so this is the perfect short-term position for you! We're looking for an energetic individual to help keep the parks and reserves in Wānaka in top condition by taking on important vegetation control tasks.
What's does an Edger / Weed Eater Operator do you ask?
As an Edger/Weed Eater Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Mowing team by helping to keep vegetation under control during the busy growing season. You’ll focus on weed-eating and edging, ensuring our parks look their best, and occasionally join the wider crew to assist with other tasks across our green spaces.

We’re on the lookout for people with a strong desire to do a job well. Experience using small plant equipment is a bonus, but if you’re eager to learn, that’s good enough for us! You’ll also need:
