About the role

Based in Whangarei, this role is responsible for maintaining relationships with Store Owners and Store Managers. We are looking for someone who can lead the implementation and rollout of e Commerce initiatives for Online orders through New World and PAK’n SAVE in the Upper North Island. We need someone with a drive to ensure the successful integration of new e Commerce platforms and continuous improvement. Collaborating with various cross-functional teams, you’ll provide training and coaching to store teams to drive the continuous improvement of our fulfilment process, focusing on best practice using order management, picking systems, ranging and compliance.

Key tasks include:

Leading the implementation and rollout of e Commerce platforms and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
Identifying business opportunities, developing partnerships, and implementing strategies to maximize online sales and customer engagement.
Regularly visit store sites to ensure best practice is being implemented, identify all operational and customer experience opportunities for improvement, as well as growing the capability of the e Commerce store teams.
Manage project schedules and resources to ensure timely delivery of ecommerce initiatives.
Establish and train roll outs of any process changes/business direction or improvement of e Commerce and support/provide feedback on any proof of concepts or pilots.
Conduct thorough testing of ecommerce platforms to identify and resolve any technical issues or performance bottlenecks.

About you

Ideally you will have operational experience having worked in a supermarket or retail store, where the excitement for change is present. Be able to work independently as well as in a team. You will have a hands-on approach to seeing tasks through to completion. Coming with a background in continuous improvement and a success rate of being able to influence key stakeholders in a business. As a strategic thinker with excellent planning, time management and communication skills, you’ll easily build robust relationships and see continuous growth in your area. e Commerce experience is just a bonus!

You’ll also be able to:

Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations in the e Commerce industry.
Identify and address technical and/or operational challenges related to e Commerce platforms and process where solutions are implemented.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to online sales, conversion rates, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Coordinate reports and dashboards to track progress, identify areas of improvement and present insights to Owner Operators and Store Managers.
Be adaptable with a can-do attitude.
