Sushi Cook Wanted

Location: Hamilton, Waikato
Employment Type: Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week, Monday to Sunday, 5:00am to 6:00pm rotating roster), Permanent
Our pay: $28.18-$30.00 per hour

We are now looking for 3 Sushi Cooks to enhance our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.


You are required to:

• Cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.

• Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.

• Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination.

• Reporting any problems with kitchen equipment to the manager on duty.

• Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use.

• May take orders and receiving payment from customers

To be successful you will need:

• Qualification is not required
• The capability of operating kitchen equipment
• Relevant experience is an advantage but not required as training will be provided
