The role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day forklift activities at our busy Hamilton facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.You will be working from 7am to 3.30pm.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

Operate all lifting equipment and able to move stock
Read and interpret packing slips accurately
Identify sub-standard or faulty goods
Palletise all goods for dispatch
Complete warehouse paperwork and identify any anomalies
Liaise with planners, other employees and be able to expedite orders if required
Complete Delivery paperwork and identify any anomalies
Conduct cycle counts as directed

Our ideal candidate should have:

Current Forklift (Reach Truck) License - mandatory
Prior experience in reach truck operation and order picking in a warehouse setting.
Previous experience working the dangerous goods advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items as required.
