Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of retail and public transport? Auckland Transport is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Channel Lead to join our team and help transform our retail network! We are in an exciting time of change with the introduction of contactless payments on the horizon, and we will soon be joining the wider national ticketing system called Motu Move (~2028). In the meantime, there is still plenty of work to be done. As part of your position as a Retail Channel Lead, some of your key responsibilities will be:
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to evolve the AT HOP retail strategy and contribute to driving AT's accelerators.
Undertake periodic retailer visits with the team and ensure we stay ahead with a prescribed set of key drivers.
Oversee the procurement and consumables management for ATHOP card and retailers, delivering sustained seamless service across AT HOP retail channel, while handling BAU retail operations.
Support the Optimising of our CSC and 3rd party retail locations to meet community and organisational needs.

As a seasoned professional, you will bring significant experience in the customer services industry, along with a proven track record of achieving business KPI's on a continuous basis. Along with this, we are looking for someone that has:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills across multiple channels
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office Suite, Visio). Experience with ticketing systems is also an advantage.
Minimum of 4 years' experience within AT's Customer service/HOP support team or 3 years' experience as an account manager, customer service.
Customer-centric approach with excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
A full clean driver's license is required.
