About the role: We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding health professional to join us in the role of Health Consultant/Registered Nurse. In this supported autonomous role, you will be delivering first aid training and health screening services across the Dunedin/South Island region. Our team is made up of Health professionals from various disciplines: Nutritionists, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Acupuncturists, Exercise Physiologists, ex-Paramedics, Dentists, etc. Key responsibilities: The delivery of the following services either at our client worksites or at our Life Care venue in Dunedin:
Undertaking health education one to one, and in a group setting including the delivery of First Aid and CPR courses and other programmes
Undertaking health monitoring and pre-employment medical testing including drug testing
Delivering influenza vaccinations
Data entry and other general administration
Cleaning equipment
The role requires travel to worksites across the South Island region, or outside the region when providing cover to other regions, and therefore there is requirement to occasionally stay overnight. Accommodation and a generous meal allowance is provided if overnight travel is required. Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
Have current Full New Zealand Driver Licence
Have the ability to pass a New Zealand Police Vetting check
Strong computer literacy
