Our receptionists always ensure our clubs are clean and tidy, they’re pleasant and able to assist with any enquiry from our members. Duties can vary from day to day, but below is a typical snapshot of the responsibilities of a receptionist. Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service Greet and farewell members entering and exiting the club, both from Reception and on the Gym Floor. Assist prospective members by explaining membership options and benefits and touring around the facility. Assist members with any membership enquiries. Provide members with recommendations for Group Fitness and Personal Training. Answering phones and handling enquiries. 2. Cleaning and Health & Safety Complete hourly Club Runs. Completion of daily and weekly cleaning specifications or as directed by the Club Manager. Hazard identification and reporting. Completion of shift checklists, including opening and closing. 3. Administration Completion of membership forms, both manually and electronically. Process paperwork for manual payments and complete cash and EFTPOS transactions. Daily reconciliation of till and banking procedure. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
