Key Responsibilities:

• Install, renovate, and repair doors and windows, ensuring all fittings are secure and correctly aligned.
• Study drawings and specifications to determine the required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Prepare layouts and select appropriate materials for the job.
• Cut, shape, and assemble parts to create accurate frameworks and structures.
• Install window frames, door frames, and fit exterior cladding.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and building code standards.
• May repair or replace existing door and window fixtures.
• Use a variety of materials including wood, plastic laminates, and metals.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Level 4 qualification or above, or a Bachelor's degree in any field.
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all installations.
• Good physical strength and stamina for lifting and positioning doors and windows.
