About the Role:
We're offering a full-time position for a dedicated Butcher to join our team. This role is ideal for qualified or experienced professionals looking to apply their expertise, as well as motivated passionate individuals eager to develop their skills and contribute to our innovative approach.
You'll be an integral part of our customer-focused team, contributing to the creation of high-quality meat products that delight our shoppers daily. We aim to perfect the basics while staying at the cutting edge of innovation, from developing new sausage flavours to introducing premium cuts.
Key Responsibilities:

Produce a wide range of high-quality meat products, including gourmet cuts.
Maintain exceptional merchandising standards and provide outstanding customer service.
Develop and introduce innovative meat products and new flavours.
Mentor and train new butchers, inspiring them to complete their apprenticeships.
Support team training and foster a positive work culture.
Contribute to department strategies to meet sales and financial targets.
Ensure cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Butcher or experienced professional with a strong butchery background.
Passionate about the butchery trade with a commitment to quality.
Experience in mentoring and training new butchers.
Hardworking, reliable, and honest.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Team player with a positive attitude.
