Hynds Pipe Systems is looking for a high performer to join us as Dunedin Branch Manager to develop and lead our high-performing team by focusing on values, customer service, setting the standard for others to follow and supporting our loyal customer base.
The Role
You will relish the challenge of leading a high performing team, providing leadership, vision and exceptional customer service to our customers in the civil, rural, water, wastewater, and drainage industries in Dunedin and South Otago. You will have a team to lead, Asset Owners and Customers to engage with and an Account Manager to support, so the ability to multi task and manage multiple functions/tasks is key. No two days are ever the same as we partner with our customers to solve challenges, provide solutions and strive to be the best we can be.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to people development, sales, operations, phone enquiries, stock control, assisting with deliveries and being an integral part of the general operations within the branch.
What you will bring to Hynds:
- A desire to contribute to Hynds Pipe Systems team first ethos
- You will be self-confident and approachable
- Experienced and have a good understanding of the construction industry, particularly civil construction and/or drainage
- Experience leading and developing people]
- Current full driver's license
- A Forklift license (F endorsement) or ability to gain immediately
