We are looking for a fantastic Bartender to join us on a fixed term basis ending June 2025.
Your day to day
As a Bartender, you will use your knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and mixology to deliver an outstanding experience for our guests at the Lobby Lounge Bar at Inter Continental Wellington. You’ll have a passion for your craft, and a flair for delivering those special moments for our guests. You’ll be well-versed in New Zealand regulations concerning responsible service and health and safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures are always being met. You will use your creativity and expertise to provide fast and courteous service of beverages to guests and uphold quality of beverage presentation.

What we need from you
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- High level of passion, enthusiasm and drive for results
- Previous experience working front-of-hour in a bar, restaurant, hotel or similar food and beverage environment
- Ambitious and eager to learn and grow
- The ability to communicate and work effectively with the team.
- An ability to legally work in New Zealand
- This role requires the successful applicant to have full availability and flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster - including evening, weekends & public holidays.
