With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community! We’re currently seeking an experienced Bakery Assistant Manager to join the team. As a department leader, you’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. The Role
Work alongside the Bakery Manager to ensure the department runs smoothly and that all targets are met or exceeded.
Assist with the planning and coordination of all facets of day-to-day operations within the department.
Maintain Food and Health & Safety standards, store policies and procedures.
Ensure staff are well trained to provide the best shopping experience for our customers.
Assist with food preparations and baking goods.

A qualified Baker or previous experience within a cafe/bakery environment is advantageous.
A passion for food including baking specialty breads and sweet treats.
Customer-driven.
A good eye for quality and presentation.
Able to strictly follow our Food Safety and Health and Safety program.
Great people skills and ability to lead, train and inspire a small team.
Reliable, self-motivated and be a good team player.
