The job is rostered, and flexibility is important. A minimum of 30 hours/week and a maximum of 45 hours/week are available. We offer a minimum of $29.70/hour and a maximum of $30/hour. Working on weekends is also essential. Seeking windscreen fitter. Permanent full-time position. Job description. 1. Follow all the instructions given by your employer during the training. 2. Handle and carry any auto glass carefully and safely. 3. Drive the company vehicle from place to place during work hours. 4. Always keep the work vehicle clean and tidy. 5. Always keep all the tools clean and in place. 6. Always stay well-presented and show good manners toward the customers. 7. Obtain auto glass for specific automobile make and model suppliers and examine them for defects simultaneously. 8. Remove molding, wiper nuts, clips, wipers, screws, bolts, etc. 9. Remove the rain sensor and cameras from broken glass where applicable. 10. Remove the broken safety and other glass from automobiles, such as door, body, and boot glass, and install the new glass after all preparations on the damaged area. 11. Preparation involves removing all loose glass, foreign material, and dirt from the damaged area, priming it to cover all the scratch marks, and putting tape to hold the glass in its place. 12. Prepare the windscreen/glass before installation. Put the molding where applicable. 13. Apply the urethane to the designated area and install the glass. 14. Put all the parts back after installation of the right glass. 15. carefully remove all the stickers/labels from the broken glass and stick them back onto the good glass. 16. Always eager to help their team members, as some jobs require two to three workers. 17. Select appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts according to the job's requirements. 18. Explain the instructions to follow to customers after completing the job. 19. Dispose of the broken glass/windscreen and rubbish at the designated disposal place. 20. Inform the employer of any fault with the work vehicle. 21. Repair the stone chip/cracks on the windscreen where applicable Key responsibilities: -Punctual and reliable. -Deal with customers politely and in a professional manner. -Agree to wear personal protection equipment (PPE). -Ensure all work is carried out professionally. -Driving work van. -Keep the tools clean and tidy all the time. -Wear company uniform. -Well presented. -The customer's vehicle must be cleaned and tidy at the end of the job. Location of the job: Mobile: Mobile work, Auckland-wide. The van must be picked up from Karaka, Papakura, Auckland. Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of work experience is required.
