A people person who builds strong relationships
A proven leader and mentor
Well developed facilitation and influencing skills
Future-focused, analytical, and skilled at problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in vocational education and/or the construction industry.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

Achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the organisation
Ensuring the effectiveness of BCITO operations within a geographically dispersed team
Providing your team with leadership, coaching and management
Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
Encouraging and supporting commitment to Te Ao Māori
Managing a regional financial budget.
