We are seeking a driven and analytical individual to join our organization as a Principal Business Performance Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with multiple departments to understand the business and leverage data to provide useful insights that enhance the performance of business processes. Your work will involve identifying and defining relevant KPIs, analyzing trends, and providing actionable, data driven insights to S&R EMEA leadership. This is a crucial position for influencing organizational strategy and operations, and requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the business and various processes.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, departments, processes and metrics driving activities.
- Collaborates with department heads to define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports relevant to the business.
- Analyses Key business indicators to identify trends, outliers and opportunities for improvement.
- Applies data science techniques to derive insights and develop value streams for the business.
- Identify major areas of opportunity using analytical tools and techniques.
- Reports out on Key business indicators to leadership and stakeholders ensuring understanding & intended interpretation
- Recommends the appropriate data driven, improvements and business actions to Organizational Leadership.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field in a Service or medical Devices environment.
- Experience with reporting software like Power BI, Tableau and a working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and MS Power Point.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively.
Master’s degree, experience supporting remote employees and/or field sales, project management skills and good presentation skills are an advantage.
