Role and responsibilities
The Tool Planning department is responsible for the long and mid-term planning, execution and tool staging for the work centers of the EF factory.
As a Tool Planner you actively analyze move rate capability on the long term. Besides, you prepare, adjust and monitor pool size for possible move rate increase. You will be ordering tools according to OPEX and CAPEX. Furthermore, you will ensure the ordered tools are delivered on time and prepare them on time. Tool Planners are actively checking the availability of tools, based on the progress for each different work center within the factory.
Additionally, you will be a representative for the tool planning department in progress meeting for the different work centers. Therefore you’ll present updates from our department. Moreover, you will act as trouble-shooter in the field of Tool escalation in order to avoid disruptions of the production process. These are just examples of what you will be working on in this diverse role, there is plenty more. In this position you will work closely with several specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Production Engineering and many more department. All in all this is a challenging and diverse position within ASML.
Education and experience
For the role of Tool Planner we are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Besides, we are looking for a determined colleague with 1-3 years of experience in planning and logistic processes (from previous work experience or traineeships/internships). Some experience stakeholder management, driving change and some affinity of ERP systems are a pre.

- The sector Manufacturing within the EUV Factory (EF) is responsible for the production and installation of NXE systems in Veldhoven.
- The Production Logistics organization within the EUV Factory is concerned with the flow of material and tools from supplier into the cleanroom. We provide executable production plans which meet requested EUV outputs, drive hardware availability during execution accordingly and drive continues improvement
