Role and responsibilities
As packaging coordinator, you will be the spider on the web: you will be working in the packaging team of the Tooling Technology EUV department. The packaging team is responsible for relevant and suitable system, service and tool packaging, all to ensure the required quality of our modules and parts during shipment or storage.
You will be responsible for collecting the list of requirements (packaging performance specification) for the product to be packed, which includes a packaging proposal.
All these requirements need to be well-substantiated and agreed upon at a cross-sectoral level. The packaging developments are outsourced to an external party, and your task is to coordinate and secure the quality of the project from first design review until the final implementation release for volume.
As packaging coordinator you'll:
Determine and align on packaging requirements cross-sectional
Monitor if all requirements are met
Assure that the design complies with the Tooling & Technology strategy
Ensure that the required business processes are aligned cross sectoral and can be executed
Be usually responsible for 15 to 25 projects:
Act as the first point of contact for projects and co-developers
Keep supervision of your individual (outsourced) projects
Monitor and ensure the planning for each individual project
Assure quality standards are met
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in one of the following studies: mechanical engineering, industrial design, industrial engineering or engineering management
Good to have as experience:
Broad technical knowledge and interest in mechanics, safety, ergonomics and logistics.
Some years of experience and affinity with packaging
Working in multidisciplinary design teams
